Raenbow Productions is delighted to have been commissioned to develop a range of products under the banner of 'Theatre in Education'.
Current productions
A number of shows are currently available for presentation, covering topics such as healthy eating (originally commissioned by Greater Glasgow Health Board) and the dangers of smoking (commissioned by Smoking Concerns). The company’s most recent project, commissioned by Glasgow City Council, is ‘Nutritional Alley’. Based on the Hungry for Success initiative, the show has toured West of Scotland primary schools, encouraging children to eat healthily, drink water and exercise. The success of this production has resulted in the development of a follow-up, ‘Nutritional Alley - the Sequel’, which adds oral health to the theme of healthy eating.
Tailor Made Productions
Raenbow Productions is delighted to discuss new projects. Shows can be tailored to meet specific needs and produced to a specification that works in tandem with the school curriculum.
CDs of all songs are available prior to performances, enabling lyrics and music to be learned beforehand. These songs can continue to be used, for example at school assemblies, to further reinforce the message.
Workshops are also available on request, and are again tailored to individual needs.
All shows are performed by professional actors and singers.
